Legs To Match On Your Wedding Day
In our last post we showed revealed our Ultimate Guide To Slimmer Toned Arms.
Today, we are going to take care of another area many Brides tell me they want to improve before their wedding.
Hips (Bum) & Thighs
After working with many Brides it is clear to me that, along with their arms and belly, these areas are also very important to feel comfortable with on the most important day of their life.
If often hear brides-to-be say things to me like…
You might say some of these things yourself.
Here’s the thing though. Most brides-to-be don’t know where to start when it comes to improving how their hips and thighs look for their big day!
But don’t worry…I am going to sort that out for you!
Exercises for a perfect butt and thighs
Exercise 1 Lunges
Start with your feet hips width apart and then step forwards with one leg and slowly lower yourself in to a lunge position. Whilst maintaining good posture, use the front foot to push you back in to the starting position. Keep alternating legs until you hit the amount of reps you are aiming for.
Exercise 2 Squats
With your feet hips width apart (or slightly wider), slowly squat down as low as you can maintaining a flat back. Aim to go slowly and controlled on the way down and then quicker on the way up. Once back at the top of the movement aim to squeeze your butt cheeks tight to make them contract.
Exercise 3 Single Leg Glute Bridge
With one foot flat on the floor and the other in the air, use the foot on the floor to push your hips as high as you can, making sure to squeeze your butt cheek at the top to contract it. Lower back down to the floor slowly before repeating again for as many reps as you aim to complete.
*Side Note*
This is important because the act of ‘squeezing’ a muscle whilst using it is what helps increase muscle tone and definition. Giving it more shape
Give it a go!
It’s over to you now to give the plan a go and see what you think.
We would love to hear what you thought about it in the comments section.
